About the Job

We are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Planning Specialist role based in Dandenong South. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of promotional contract packing requirements for L'Oréal Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the co-packing planning process according to targeted service level, costs, and inventory control standards, while following all required internal and external control requirements.
  • Manage monthly/weekly/daily co-packing operational activities with the team.
  • Create and schedule production plans and components deliveries to co-packers.
  • Communicate production plans to co-packers and follow its execution by managing purchase orders and deliveries between co-packers/the distribution center (s).
  • Control stock levels at co-packers' site, including conducting monthly stock reconciliation and annual stock takes.
  • Analyze and report on co-packers' performance (production, quality, stock levels) and ensure they are following Loreal Group's requirements especially in terms of quality and traceability.
  • Lead and coordinate improvement projects with a focus on simplifying and automating processes to drive productivity and remove complexity in the supply chain.
  • Lead the team in critical alignment meetings/forums such as supplier collaboration, operations collaboration, and key account supply chain meetings.
  • Compile, analyze, and communicate KPI/operational reports to the business to provide visibility, and work with stakeholders to identify root causes to manage risks.
  • Education the rest of the business on best practices and operating standards related to co-packing.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • SAP expertise in relation to physical distribution & materials management is strongly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain's physical, informational, and financial flows.
  • Strong understanding of customer expectations and demonstrated high level of customer service.
  • Experience working with co-packers or external third-party suppliers is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, finance, business, or related field is strongly preferred.
  • At least years' experience in supply chain planning function such as production, supply or demand planning or operations management function is strongly preferred.
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated with strong organizational skills (multi-tasking).
  • Demonstrated project coordination and management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including meeting facilitation and presentations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
