About the Role

Sunnyfield is an organisation dedicated to enriching the lives of people with disability by creating choice and control.

As a Support Worker within our shared living team, you will play a vital role in supporting and empowering people with disability to live a life of their choosing.

You will provide a range of services assisting clients to live independently, be actively involved in their local community, and engaged in meaningful opportunities.

This is a permanent part-time position, working in-house located in Terrey Hills. Shifts will include early morning, days, afternoons, weekends, and a wake-over shift.

Flexibility to work a minimum of 4 x early shifts a week is a must.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting clients to live as independently as possible by assisting with activities of daily living, including menu planning, cooking, and cleaning.
  • Supporting clients to live an active lifestyle and participate in their community through the delivery of person-centred programs.
  • Working to behaviour support plans by utilising positive behaviour strategies.
  • Communication with families about clients' progress.

About You

You are passionate about making a difference and want to contribute to providing exceptional support to our clients.

You are a positive and energetic person who loves teamwork and is organised.

You have the ability to engage, communicate, and build partnerships with people.

Experience in the Disability sector is essential.

You must have a driver's license and vehicle.
