Logistics Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced logistics professional to fill the role of Logistics Coordinator at a leading transport and logistics company in Chullora. This is a hands-on opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, managing operations and ensuring smooth delivery processes.

About the Role:

  • The Logistics Coordinator will play a key role in the nightly operations of our warehouse and transport activities.
  • Your responsibilities will include coordinating logistics for truck drivers, ensuring schedules and deliveries are met.
  • You will manage stock and inventory in a refrigerated environment, performing data entry and maintaining accurate records of invoices and stock movement.
  • You will also be responsible for inducting new drivers on-site and providing clear instructions.
  • Collaboration with warehouse teams is essential to resolve operational issues.
  • You will ensure compliance with safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.

About You:

  • To be successful in this role, you will need experience in a logistics or inventory management role.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills are essential.
  • Attention to detail and proficiency in data entry are required.
  • You must be able to work in a cold storage environment.
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary for liaising with drivers and warehouse staff.
  • A commitment to safety, with the ability to pass a pre-employment medical, is also required.
