Home Care Support Worker

We are seeking a caring and compassionate individual to join our team as a Home Care Support Worker. In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents, providing them with the care and support they need to live comfortably in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide personal care assistance with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with the delivery and administration of medication as required
- Mobility assistance in accordance with resident care plans
- Maintain accurate healthcare documentation as required
- Encourage all residents to participate in scheduled social activities
- Build relationships with our residents and their families
- Adhere to workplace health and safety guidelines and policies

Requirements:

- Minimum of a Cert III in an Aged Care or relevant qualification
- Previous aged care experience highly regarded but not essential
- The ability to work as part of a tight-knit team and take direction as required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week
