As a Lifestyle Officer, you'll play a vital role in creating engaging and purposeful living programs that meet the unique needs and abilities of our residents. You'll work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement activities that promote social, emotional, cultural, spiritual, physical, and cognitive well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver high-quality engagement and purposeful living programs that meet accreditation requirements.
  • Conduct resident assessments and complete associated documentation.
  • Facilitate engaging, innovative, and meaningful leisure and lifestyle programs according to clients' needs and abilities.
  • Assist residents to achieve maximum independence, maintain friendships, and participate in the community through planned group and individual leisure-based activities.
  • Evaluate programs on a regular basis to ensure they are meeting the needs of the residents and identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle qualifications (or working towards this or willingness to obtain).
  • Passion for delivering high-quality care that makes a difference for our residents.
  • Eagerness to grow and develop your aged care career.
  • Relevant experience in aged care (essential if not qualified).
  • Excellent customer service and resident relation skills.
  • Strong verbal, written, and communication skills and commitment to continuous quality improvement.
