Key Roles of a Reservations Manager

The primary responsibility of a reservations manager is to oversee the entire process of room reservations, including incoming enquiries and bookings.

  • Direct and support a team of reservation specialists to deliver exceptional service standards and optimize efficiency in guest communication.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to increase occupancy rates and revenue through effective communication of monthly targets.
  • Handle all incoming reservations inquiries via phone and email, with a focus on up-selling and maximizing revenue opportunities.
  • Enter bookings into the property management system (PMS) to maximize back-to-back bookings and monitor room allocations and availability.
  • Accurately maintain records of special accounts and travel agency statistics to inform sales strategy.
  • Address systems issues and customer requests promptly and professionally.

Requirements:
