About Your Role:

As a Disability Support Worker at H1 Group, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to our clients living at home or in group homes with various disabilities.

About Us:

H1 Group provides quality staffing support to a range of healthcare clients across Disability, Aged Care, Dental, Allied, and Acute sectors on a national level.

Responsibilities:
  • Assisting clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
  • Cooking client meals
  • Manual handling and medication administration
  • Community access and emotional support
  • Assisting clients with behaviors of concern
  • Building rapport with clients and their families
  • Adhering to participant care plans and NDIS frameworks
Requirements:
  • Experience dealing with high behaviors (mandatory)
  • Catheter care experience is essential
  • Strong cooking skills
  • Experience assisting with ADLs
  • Medication experience
  • Current Police Check, First Aid, and CPR certificate
  • Manual handling experience
  • Commitment to at least three ongoing shifts per week
