We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team in a rural generalist interprofessional setting. As a Senior Psychologist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based psychology services in child development, inpatients, and outpatient clinics.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver Clinical Psychology Services: Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients referred to the Psychology department, while being responsive to the needs of families, significant others, and the wider community.
- Apply Professional Judgement: Use professional judgement to a varied caseload, through routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence, ensuring effective and efficient services.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain appropriate documentation and patient records in line with Departmental, Unit, and Health Service procedures, and contribute to the maintenance of accurate and timely information systems.
- Provide Clinical Supervision: Provide clinical practice supervision and education commensurate with the level of experience for students and less experienced staff to ensure the maintenance of professional clinical standards.
- Registration with AHPRA: Be registered with the Psychology Board of Australia under the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Endorsement with AHPRA: Have endorsement with the Psychology Board of Australia in a relevant area of practice (Clinical Psychology, Health Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology) or be willing to obtain it.
- Generous Remuneration Package: Receive a generous remuneration package value up to $152,775 p.a., comprising salary range of $ to $ p.f. (HP4), 4 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading, and 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.
