Senior Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Psychologist to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team in Southern Country. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical knowledge and interventions in child and adolescent mental health.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement evidence-based clinical modalities to support children and adolescents with mental health needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal client outcomes and provide consultation to other agencies and the community.
- Work with consumers to develop individual care plans using a recovery framework and promote access and equity of services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds.
- Act as a consultant and resource person to CAMHS, other agencies, and the community by providing information and education regarding child and adolescent and family mental health.
- Extensive clinical experience in delivering mental health psychology services to children and adolescents.
- Advanced clinical experience in delivering a range of evidence-based clinical modalities relevant to Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
- Advanced knowledge in at least one area of clinical practice relevant to Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
- Ability to communicate and work with other professionals, facilitate group functions, and work as a team member.
- Ability to work with a high degree of responsibility with limited supervision and direction.
- Relocation financial support may be negotiated, subject to eligibility.
