About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Psychologist to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team in South Australia. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical knowledge and interventions in child and adolescent mental health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement evidence-based clinical modalities to support children and adolescents with mental health needs.
  • Collaborate with consumers, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop individual care plans and promote recovery.
  • Act as a consultant and resource person to CAMHS, other agencies, and the community to provide information and education on child and adolescent mental health.
  • Promote access and equity of services for people from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds.
Requirements
  • Advanced clinical experience in the delivery of mental health psychology services to children and adolescents.
  • Ability to work with a high degree of responsibility with limited supervision and direction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with consumers, families, and other healthcare professionals.
