Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lecturer to join our team at the School of Applied Psychology, Griffith University. As a teaching-focused Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, as well as contributing to the development of our curriculum and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Psychology, including conducting tutorials, practical classes, and workshops.
  • Foster a student-centered learning environment and encourage active participation and engagement in learning.
  • Continuously improve teaching practice through professional development, research, and critical reflection.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of the School's standing and reputation through scholarly activities, commitments, and outputs.
  • Promote and enhance student learning experiences through engagement with industry and the broader community.

Requirements:

  • PhD or doctoral qualification in Clinical Psychology or a related field.
  • Registered as a psychologist in Australia (AHPRA) with an area of practice endorsement in Clinical Psychology.
  • Qualified to provide supervision as per the requirements of the Psychology Board of Australia.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and external stakeholders.
