Resident Wellbeing Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Wellbeing Coordinator to join our team at Wagga Wagga Community Aged Care. As a key member of our Wellbeing team, you will play a vital role in designing and delivering dynamic wellbeing programs that support the physical and emotional wellbeing of our residents.
About the RoleThe Wellbeing Coordinator will lead the Wellbeing team to plan, design, and deliver varied resident wellbeing programs. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents and contribute to the success of our organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement wellbeing programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents
- Collaborate with the Wellbeing team to design and deliver programs that promote physical and emotional wellbeing
- Provide support and guidance to residents to help them achieve their wellbeing goals
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive wellbeing culture within the residence
- Work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless and supportive experience for residents
- Qualification in Lifestyle (or diversional therapy), or progress towards qualification
- Ability to be creative, compassionate, and supportive in providing Lifestyle programs for residents
- Understanding and empathetic qualities
- Ability to work as part of a team and lead by example
- Organisation and time management skills
- Ability to accept the many differences our multi-cultural community may embrace and help maintain each resident's dignity and preferences
