Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Auction Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for attending vendor sites, preparing for and coordinating online auctions, and ensuring a smooth and timely auction process.

The role involves detailed asset cataloguing and photography, managing onsite inspection periods, and liaising with vendors and service providers to ensure safe and efficient decommissioning and removal of assets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Detailed Asset Cataloguing: Accurately enter assets into our asset management system through detailed cataloguing and photography.
  • Onsite Inspection Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage onsite inspection periods.
  • Sales Enquiries: Respond to sales enquiries in a timely manner, providing excellent customer service and maximising sales opportunities.
  • Liaison and Coordination: Liaise with vendors and service providers to ensure safe and efficient decommissioning and removal of assets.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar role or technical environment.
  • Industrial Equipment Exposure: Exposure to industrial equipment is essential.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Independence and Time Management: Ability to work independently on site and manage time effectively.
  • Forklift Licence and Driver's Licence: Hold a current forklift licence and Australian driver's licence.
  • WH&S Experience: Experience and/or qualifications in Work Health and Safety is desirable.
