THE OPPORTUNITY
In Adelaide, you will be part of a diverse team making a positive impact on someone's life every day. You will feel great satisfaction knowing your talent and hard work have a purpose.
This role involves providing early, timely, and personal service to workers, employers, and other stakeholders while delivering an empathetic customer experience through in-depth technical specialisation in complex claims.
This is a full-time, 6-month contract position based in the Adelaide office, with flexibility to work from home once fully trained.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proactively manage rehabilitation providers and approval of rehabilitation plans/wellness plans in accordance with guidelines.
- Liaise with all internal and external stakeholders regularly to progress strategies and actions.
- Engage in employer claims reviews where requested and maintain regular contact with the employer, EML account manager, and/or primary EML claims specialist for a policy.
- Gather evidence and conduct investigations to assist in dispute proceedings and ensure they are managed and supported in a timely manner.
- Ensure effective management of key legislative drivers in accordance with the Act.
ABOUT YOU
- You possess previous customer service, hospitality, or retail experience with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- You demonstrate great attention to detail and time management skills.
- You excel in written and verbal communication.
- Tertiary studies in Allied Health (Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, Nursing, Psychology) are advantageous but not mandatory.
