Child and Family Therapy Specialist

This role presents an opportunity to develop your skills in delivering counseling services to children, parents, and families. Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, you will contribute to service development, evaluation, and education for staff and students.
About the RoleWe are seeking a Family and Child Services Therapist to provide counseling services to achieve optimal health outcomes. This includes conducting psycho-social assessments and providing therapeutic support to foster healthy relationships and improve overall family functioning.
- Promote healthy relationships and improve family dynamics through counseling services.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to children and their families.
- Contribute to the development and evaluation of our Child and Family Health service.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work or a related field.
- Demonstrated understanding of the AASW Practice Standards.
- An interest in advancing your therapeutic counseling skills and working collaboratively with families.
