We are seeking a reliable and skilled Yard Hand/Vehicle Coordinator to join our team.

About the Role

This position plays a vital role in ensuring business vehicles are readily available to customers via various product lines. Based at our South Melbourne hub, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring fleet cleanliness, servicing, and damage assessment before handing over keys.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring all vehicles are cleaned and fueled/charged.
  • Controlling cars onsite at the depot, maintaining a neat and tidy carpark.
  • Moving vehicles between specified locations as required.
  • Completing inspection photos for vehicles (inbound, outbound).
  • Inspecting and reviewing accident-repaired vehicles.
  • Organizing the depot at the end of each day, ensuring vehicles are parked appropriately and secure.
  • Assisting stakeholders with vehicle pick-ups – service and accident repairs.
  • Receiving and preparing new vehicles, including installation of telematic devices.
Requirements
  • A valid driver's license (required for driving in Australia).
  • Comfortable commuting and working out of the South Melbourne hub.
  • Intermediate-level computer skills.
  • A strong can-do attitude with demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Desirable: mechanical aptitude or reasonable understanding of motor vehicles.
