As a Yard Tug Driver, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our yard.
Responsibilities- You will be responsible for safely positioning trailers/vehicles in a timely manner as requested by the control room.
- You must ensure that the yard area, including entry and exit points, vehicle wash, fuel islands, and walkways, are well-managed to allow free and safe movement of both vehicles and pedestrians within the yard area.
- You are expected to promote best practices and challenge non-compliance.
- You will drive company tug vehicles in a safe and courteous manner, in accordance with site rules.
- You are required to report any vehicle accidents or mechanical defects to the control room or supervisor.
- You must take responsible actions to ensure the safety and security of vehicles, equipment, and goods.
- You will carry out daily vehicle checks following established procedures.
- You are expected to ensure the safe and efficient movement of vehicles between parking bays and loading bays.
Requirements:
- You must hold a valid MC license.
- You may be required to perform other duties as assigned.
