Yard Operations Specialist

MJ Quinn is an established national organisation with contracts covering the UK and Ireland. We have over 1500 workers delivering our services.
As a Yard Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the yard area, guaranteeing the smooth flow of goods and materials in and out of the yard.
Duties:
- Prioritise daily yard activities, adhering to all relevant Health & Safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe yard environment.
- Ensure safe vehicle control in and out of the yard area.
- Manage deliveries by loading/unloading vehicles safely and processing relevant paperwork and documentation.
- Assist with monthly safety/yard inspections, document findings, and distribute reports to management personnel.
- Optimise logistics for stored materials, ensuring proper storage and preventing yard congestion.
- Record and report any maintenance issues to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Banksman training certification.
- In-date FLT licence.
- Qualifications:
- Proven experience in yard management or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain and logistics operations.
- Familiarity with transportation management systems.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
