Job Title: Yard Tug Operator

Safely position trailers and vehicles in a timely manner as requested by the control room.

  • Ensure a well-managed yard area, including entry and exit points, vehicle wash, fuel islands, and walkways, to allow free and safe movement of both vehicles and pedestrians.
  • Promote best practices and challenge non-compliance throughout the yard area.
  • Drive company tug vehicles safely and courteously, adhering to site rules and regulations.
  • Report any vehicle accidents or mechanical defects promptly to the control room or supervisor.
  • Perform daily vehicle checks according to established procedures.
  • Maintain efficient movement of vehicles between parking bays and loading bays.
