About This Role

We are seeking a seasoned expert in system reliability to join our team.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure cloud infrastructure, with experience in defining and implementing service level objectives (SLOs), service level indicators (SLIs), and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Strong communication skills are essential for success in this role, as the candidate will be working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues that impact system performance.

This position requires a high degree of autonomy, with the ability to work independently and make decisions quickly. A strong motivation to drive results is also essential.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Defining SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs for reliability
  2. Monitoring system performance and identifying areas for improvement
  3. Capacity planning and automating reliability improvements
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in a related field
  • Tertiary qualification in IT or Computer Science
