About the Role

Civica is a leading provider of software solutions for governments, education, health, and care sectors worldwide. As our Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a key role in our SaaS transformation, ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with engineers, developers, and product teams to implement roadmaps, drive automation, and adopt best practices.
  • Design and implement scalable and resilient cloud environments on AWS, Azure, and VMware.
  • Develop infrastructure as code (Terraform, etc.) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, etc.) to deploy features safely and rapidly.
  • Define and measure reliability by partnering with teams to establish SLIs / SLOs and implementing real-time observability.
Key Requirements

We are looking for an experienced production SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure professional with:

  • Experience in at least one public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience with hybrid migrations from on-premises to cloud.
  • Proven experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS, AKS, OpenShift).
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, Go, Bash) and a passion for building reusable, tested libraries and tools.
