As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing scalable and resilient cloud environments on multiple platforms.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop infrastructure as code using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, ensuring safe and rapid deployment of features.
Key responsibilities include establishing Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs), implementing real-time observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana, and proactively identifying risks to ensure high reliability.
You will also lead incident response by managing the on-call rota, guiding teams through blameless post-mortems, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Additionally, you will mentor and evangelize best practices in cloud engineering across the global team, ensuring seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Requirements for this position include experience in a production SRE or DevOps role, preferably in SaaS or large-scale web environments.
Expertise in at least one public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience with hybrid migrations from on-premises to cloud are essential.
Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes, ECS, AKS, and OpenShift are required.
Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Go, and Bash are necessary, along with a passion for building reusable, tested libraries and tools.
