Job Opportunity

The Governance Branch oversees the workflow between departments and responsible ministers, providing them with practical support arrangements.

Key objectives include establishing and maintaining strong relationships between ministers and their offices, senior executives, and departmental teams.

The Enterprise Risk Management Section supports better practice governance and risk management through the administration of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework and Policy.

The Section works on high-profile projects, programs, and new policy proposals, offering advice and support on Comcover insurance matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing administrative tasks, including email management, scheduling meetings, taking minutes, coordinating tasks, responding to requests and queries, information management, and procurement activities.
  • Working in a dynamic environment to meet agreed priorities and outcomes.
  • Providing accurate and timely advice to internal stakeholders about enterprise risk management and Comcover insurance policies and procedures.
  • Collaborating with team members and stakeholders to build and sustain relationships and participate in teamwork.
  • Meeting business objectives by recommending solutions for issues impacting desired outcomes and seeking guidance on complex issues.
  • Facilitating committees and forums to share information and build relationships.
