Account Manager Job Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our commercial team. The successful candidate will be responsible for representing commercially with key customer accounts, developing business opportunities, and managing customer relationships.
About the Role:
- Developing and maintaining strong professional relationships with new and existing customers
- Preparing commercial quotations and winning business opportunities in line with sales plans and targets
- Maintaining and improving profitability margins for existing products
- Supporting administration and assisting the team with marketing presentations as needed
- Assisting in the preparation of sales forecasts and annual reporting for defined accounts/markets
- Identifying business development opportunities with a sound understanding of product portfolio to grow sales
- Working closely with internal teams in the development of product plans for new technologies and business opportunities
- Representing and negotiating on behalf of the company to maximise profitability while maintaining credible working relationships with all customers and stakeholders
Requirements:
- 3+ years' experience in a commercial/B2B Sales or Business Development role or Customer facing Technical/Engineering role with some commercial skills
- Demonstrable sales negotiation and contract award successes
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft suite of applications, especially Excel
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Minimum degree level tertiary qualification, preferably in business, commerce, or engineering
