
Family Violence Intervention Specialist

At Latrobe Community Health Service, we aim to prevent health problems through information and awareness, and to intervene sooner through the delivery of truly integrated healthcare.
About the Role:The Case Manager will support our Family Violence Perpetrator Program through intake and assessment; providing individual case management utilizing an integrated treatment plan to deliver client-directed care.
Key Responsibilities:
- We process referrals to service utilizing a range of IT systems.
- We undertake client assessments of suitability for Family Violence Perpetrator Case Management and/or Men's Behaviour Change Program.
- We conduct perpetrator risk assessments for self-harm or harm to others.
- We contribute to the sharing of information with internal programs and external service providers, in accordance with relevant legislation.
- You must have a relevant tertiary degree with substantial experience; or associate diploma level with substantial experience in the relevant service stream; or be willing to undertake further study in the next 5 years to meet minimum qualifications as per Recommendation 209 of The Royal Commission into Family Violence.
- You must hold a current Victorian Drivers Licence.
- You must have a current Working with Children Check (Employee).
