Family Violence Crisis Support Specialist

We provide crisis response, risk assessment, and case management for women and children escaping family violence.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver trauma-informed support to empower victim survivors and prioritize their safety.
- Work within the Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management (MARAM), the Family Violence Information Sharing Scheme (FVISS) and the Child Information Sharing Scheme (CISS).
- Advocate for client needs and collaborate with local, regional, and statewide services.
- Support clients in emergency and refuge accommodation and help with safety planning and material aid.
- A Bachelor level qualification in Social Work or equivalency met through the 7 Equivalency Principles.
- Experience in family violence crisis intervention and case management.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment, trauma-informed care, and family violence frameworks.
- Ability to work under pressure while managing a complex caseload.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
