The Role
As a Credit Officer, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing a national ledger, encompassing major clients and ensuring timely payments.
- Banking, receipting, and allocations to maintain accurate financial records.
- End-of-month duties to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Reviewing and releasing held orders to optimize cash flow.
- Following up on outstanding debtors and collections to minimize financial risks.
- Providing debtor reporting to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Managing and reviewing customer credit limits to maintain a healthy credit portfolio.
- Processing new account applications to expand our client base.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have experience in a Credit or Collections position, with intermediate-level proficiency in MS Excel, including V-Lookups and Pivot tables.
