We are seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Nutrition Professional to drive optimal nutrition and food service delivery across all our facilities. This is a full-time role offering flexibility to be based at any of our locations across Australia.
About the Role
- Lead the development and implementation of high-quality nutrition and food service practices across all our facilities.
- Support clinical outcomes, menu design, and mealtime experiences, ensuring compliance with aged care quality standards.
- Collaborate with care, hospitality, lifestyle, and leadership teams to provide person-centred, culturally inclusive, and clinically effective nutrition care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert clinical nutrition support for residents with complex needs.
- Design and approve nutritionally balanced menus, catering to texture modification, cultural diversity, and resident preferences.
- Conduct mealtime observations, coach staff on best practices for dignity, inclusivity, and resident satisfaction.
- Promote food-first approaches to reduce reliance on supplements and implement fortified food programs.
- Deliver training sessions and resources to build staff capability in nutrition care.
- Lead compliance audits, assist in regulatory assessments, and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.
