">We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Team Leader to join our multidisciplinary team.
">This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled leader to oversee the delivery of high-quality services to children, youth, and families in statutory care.
">The successful candidate will provide practice oversight, mentoring, and operational leadership to ensure safe, inclusive, and effective service delivery.
">About the Role

- Oversee intake, assessment, and care planning processes">
- Supervise and mentor support workers and practitioners">
- Collaborate with families, carers, and external stakeholders">
- Ensure compliance with child protection legislation and best practice">
- Promote culturally safe services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities">
- Contribute to continuous improvement and service innovation">
- Participate in after-hours and on-call support as required">
Requirements
">To be considered for this role, you will need:
">- ">
- A degree in Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences or related field">
- At least 3 years' experience in child protection or youth/family services">
- 1+ years' experience leading a team in a care or support setting">
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and child development">
- Demonstrated understanding of child protection and out-of-home care systems, including familiarity with relevant legislation">
- Experience working alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff, children, young people, families and communities">
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills">
- Possess a current National Police Certificate, Working with Children (Blue Card), Child Safety and Personal History Screening Check">
