We are seeking a skilled Technical IT Infrastructure Leader to join our team in Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a challenging role and contribute to the success of a leading global financial institution.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure, with expertise in VMware and Windows Server management. They will be responsible for managing a virtualized environment, handling configuration, troubleshooting, and documentation. Additionally, they will implement and oversee backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity.

Other key responsibilities include leading transitions of legacy systems to modern environments, monitoring and managing endpoint protection and cybersecurity software, and providing second- and third-line support.

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in IT infrastructure, with strong Windows and VMware expertise
  • Certifications: VCP, MCSE, or related certifications
  • Technical skills: proficiency in Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, and VMware Horizon
  • Scripting skills: PowerShell, Perl, or Python preferred
