Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $140,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Technical Leader to join our cloud infrastructure team. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll be responsible for leading the development and implementation of cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of our business.

Your primary focus will be on working across all squads and chapters in your value stream or tribe, with a focus on the most complex and highest impact technical changes or implementations. You'll work closely with our leadership team to identify areas that require attention and dive deep to ensure our teams are set up for technical success.

This role requires excellent technical and leadership skills, as well as the ability to translate business strategies into technical solutions. You'll engage with senior stakeholders, including business and technology leaders, to communicate and influence technical decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in solution design and hosted cloud environments in Kubernetes
  • Experience developing solutions based on REST APIs and large web eCommerce sites (preferably in retail)
  • Understanding of Cloud Infrastructure (IAAS) technology, including Terraform
  • Experience working on transformation programs, network design, subnets, and access control
  • Experience in troubleshooting performance issues across the full stack
  • Experience with asynchronous design patterns
  • Demonstrated experience working across commercially off-the-shelf and custom-built applications
  • Exposure to Google and Azure infrastructure used in modern web architecture
  • Exposure to MS SQL Server, MySQL performance tuning, and NoSQL database design
  • Experience with Modern JavaScript (React), Node.js, Java, and/or .NET
