About the Role
This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires someone with extensive technical expertise in cloud infrastructure services. The role involves administration, management, and maintenance of cloud-based systems for our clients. This includes resolving escalated IT service issues, delivering desired task outcomes, and providing technical direction to junior engineers.
The successful candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in configuring, administering, and supporting IT infrastructure services including on-prem, cloud services, and virtualization. They will be highly skilled in Windows Server operating systems, Microsoft SQL Server administration, Linux server administration, and Microsoft Azure and MS365 products and services.
Key responsibilities include fulfilling infrastructure administration and support to customers, maintaining and managing various on-prem and cloud infrastructure & services, providing level 2 and 3 technical supports to customers, and following standardised ITIL frameworks relating to Incident, Security, Problem, and Change Management processes.
The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, create and maintain strong technical documentation for managed systems and services, and attend customer and other stakeholders' meetings where applicable.
