About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Human Resources Manager, based on-site at Yarrabee Coal Company. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in delivering HR services that support the achievement of our operational plan. Your primary focus will be on fostering a positive and productive work environment, aligned with our 'Our Way' Cultural and Operating model.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and provide direction to a diverse HR team in all facets of HR Services, including ER/IR matters, recruitment, performance management, and cultural alignment.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with our overall business strategy.
  • Support the development and implementation of cultural improvement strategies for site, with a focus on site success.
  • Support the preservation and development of human capital to meet current and future business needs.

Requirements

  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in a similar position, leading and driving teams for success.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to coach and develop employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven experience in driving and fostering a positively engaged workplace and its culture.
  • Consultative and collaborative approach to HR services.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with well-developed commercial acumen.
