Coronado Global Resources is seeking an experienced Mining Services and Projects Superintendent to join our team at Curragh North. This pivotal leadership role will oversee the management of ancillary fleets, mine service activities, contractor management, and business improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities- Contract Management: Ensure alignment of contract management procedures with the Contract Management framework, regularly reviewing processes for improvement opportunities and efficiencies.
- Team Guidance: Provide guidance, mentoring, and identify training needs for the Contract Management Team to facilitate their development.
- Claim Management: Review and manage claims from Contractor/s regarding mine services and ensure compliance to mine schedule.
- Interface Management: Ensure a seamless interface with between Curragh technical services team and contractors.
- Performance Monitoring: Update and ensure achievement of contract Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to align with Coronado's goals and strategies, and report on contract management performance and emerging issues.
- Business Improvement: Identify and manage business improvement initiatives throughout the full project lifecycle, including business case management, approvals and implementation.
- Qualifications: Qualifications in Law, Business, Commerce, or Engineering-related disciplines, or equivalent experience.
- Leadership Experience: Demonstrated leadership and contract management experience, within the open-cut mining sector.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial acumen, coupled with proficient contract management and analytical skills.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with ERP Systems (Oracle), Microsoft Suite of products, and FPE (or equivalent).
