We are seeking a highly skilled Geology Superintendent to lead our team of geology professionals at Coronado Global Resources. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating all geological activities, budgets, and plans to ensure the continued success of our open-cut coal mine.

• Develop and implement a geology development strategy to drive operational efficiency, improve production outputs, and increase economic returns.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to provide geological information and support the design process.
• Engage with operations teams to ensure compliance with dig design and minimize coal loss/dilution.
• Lead the geology team to drive best geological practices and superior business outcomes.
• Monitor the external environment to identify trends, opportunities, threats, and leading practices, and integrate these into the geology strategy.
• Coordinate and provide resources to designated task forces to complete studies on time, to budget, and to stakeholder requirements.
• Contribute to the establishment, development, and continuous improvement of systems and practices to enable geology's services to be delivered more effectively and efficiently.

• Tertiary qualification in geology or a related field.
• Proven industry experience in leadership roles within the resources sector.
• Proven experience in team management and development, with a hands-on approach.
• Demonstrated experience with complex geology.
• Superior engagement, oral, and written communication skills.
