About the Role

The Director of International Partnerships and Human Rights Education will lead the development and management of international partnerships across the Asia-Pacific region. This role requires high-level leadership and representational skills, as well as substantial management experience.

The successful candidate will provide strategic advice to the Commission Executive on potential projects and partnerships, and lead the development and sustainment of relationships with government, the private sector, and civil society.

This role also involves leading business development opportunities to enhance outreach and expansion of the Commission's training and education programs, and overseeing the Commission's Workplace & Community Education function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and management of international partnerships across the Asia-Pacific region.
  • Provide strategic advice to the Commission Executive on potential projects and partnerships.
  • Lead the development and sustainment of relationships with government, the private sector, and civil society.
  • Lead business development opportunities to enhance outreach and expansion of the Commission's training and education programs.
  • Oversee the Commission's Workplace & Community Education function.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have demonstrated expertise in international and domestic human rights law and policy, project management, external engagement, and strategic leadership.

They will also have exceptional communication skills, including the ability to communicate confidently, persuasively, sensitively, and articulately, on matters relevant to the delivery of the Commission's strategic priorities.

The successful candidate will be committed to delivering high-level comprehensive leadership, representation, and management skills in a complex, sensitive, and fast-moving environment.

We are seeking an individual who is passionate about human rights and has a strong track record of leadership and management experience.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the Commission's mission and values, and will be able to provide strategic advice and leadership to the Commission Executive.

They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and will be able to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
