Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Advisor, Human Rights to join our team at Link Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a human rights protection and risk management framework for our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a human rights protection and risk management framework for our organization
  • Lead a review of procurement processes and policies to promote human rights and mitigate the risk of modern slavery in our operations and supply chain
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen and support our social impact strategy and community programs
  • Provide strategic advice and practical guidance on human rights and modern slavery risk management
  • Map and evaluate the effectiveness of existing modern slavery training and make recommendations for improvement
  • Develop a proposed framework, processes, and documents to uplift human rights due diligence and risk management
  • Identify and prioritize suppliers with high modern slavery risk and develop a plan to engage with them
  • Lead the preparation of the annual Modern Slavery Statement, including drafting case studies and obtaining relevant data from internal stakeholders
  • Support the development of a global social impact strategy and lead community investment initiatives
  • Track, measure, and promote our social impact, contributing to sustainability reporting and external communications

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sustainability, social impact, or human rights roles within the professional services or finance industries
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Strong experience managing human rights and modern slavery programs in a large, complex organization
  • Experience in human rights-related risk analysis and due diligence within supplier processes
  • Experience in conducting supplier assessments and audits, particularly in regions with higher risk
  • Demonstrated experience in leading social impact and community engagement programs
  • Strong influencing, relationship building, and collaboration skills
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
