Job Summary:

The Department of Education and Training is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Governance Lead to lead the implementation and continuous improvement of an effective system of corporate governance for the department's Education Executive Board and its committees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic and operational corporate governance and secretariat advice and support to the various governance groups, its members and secretariat.
  • Provide advice and strategic support for the governance, development and implementation of agency strategy and reform agendas.
  • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of an effective system of corporate governance.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in corporate governance, strategic planning, and leadership. They will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Remuneration Package: $150,506 - $167,941 (including salary $128,551 - $143,611)

Experience Level: Senior Administrative Officer 1
