About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Executive Officer to lead our organization in achieving its strategic objectives. As CEO, you will be responsible for ensuring the organization maintains its strategic direction and delivers high-quality services to the Aboriginal community-controlled housing sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the Aboriginal community, governments, and peak bodies.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of passionate and skilled employees, ensuring the highest standard of service and advocacy for the sector.
  • Cultivate effective partnerships and collaborations to drive positive change and outcomes for the sector.
  • Ensure the organization's work is aligned with the National Agreement on Closing the Gap, priority reforms, and socio-economic targets.
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the organization, ensuring it remains focused on its mission and goals.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Chief Executive Officer or in a similar leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of the Aboriginal community-controlled housing sector and its challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team, ensuring high levels of performance and productivity.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive positive change and outcomes.
