Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Advisory Manager to join our team at KPMG. As a key member of our Enterprise Advisory team, you will play a critical role in providing strategic level advice and support to government and large corporations on major reforms and transformation programs.

About the Role

As a Strategic Advisory Manager, you will be responsible for leading a small team and consulting on projects to our mid-market clients. You will be exposed to a range of industries and sectors, and will work closely with our clients to develop and implement business strategies that drive growth and build organizational resilience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate business strategies and advise on business and operating models to enable growth and build organizational resilience
  • Advise on major government policy reforms and evaluate government programs
  • Develop business cases for major infrastructure and technology investments
  • Manage transformation programs and projects
  • Deliver high-quality, forward-thinking, and innovative solutions for a range of clients
  • Sustain long-term relationships with our clients, founded on integrity and trust

Requirements

  • Tertiary-level education in commerce, business, finance, marketing, technology or similar degrees
  • Project management qualifications (desirable)
  • Advanced written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • A strategic thinker with an ability to formulate strategic options to complex problems
  • An understanding of how organizations can structure their operations to build resilience and drive continuous improvement
  • Sound commercial acumen and an understanding of financial implications of decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to apply systems thinking and analysis techniques to complex problems
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and an understanding of project management principles
  • Enjoy complexity and ambiguity and bringing innovative ideas to deliver quality outcomes
  • An appreciation for digital technology strategies and the role technology in enhancing customer experience
