Care Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate Care Worker to join our team in delivering quality in-home care and supporting customers to maintain their well-being and independence in their own surroundings for as long as possible.

A typical day assisting customers may include:

  • Domestic assistance
  • Assistance with personal care
  • Assisted shopping/client appointments
  • Respite care
  • Meal preparation
  • Social support and community engagement

About the Position

This role offers the opportunity to make a positive difference in people's lives, working collaboratively with customers and their families to develop individualised plans that cater to their unique needs.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a genuine desire to connect with and understand customers' needs.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you will need:

  • Availability for shifts across Monday to Friday between 7am and 7pm (Some weekend and public holidays as required)
  • Qualification in Aged care or similar field is desirable
  • Qualification in First Aid and CPR or willingness to obtain is highly regarded
  • Genuine desire and ability to connect and develop a meaningful relationship
  • Ability to obtain the WWVP and Police Check prior to commencement
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Full Comprehensive Car Insurance, or willing to obtain
