As a House Companion, you will provide high-quality personal care and daily living assistance to residents, including medication administration, personal hygiene, mobility support, and social engagement.
">Our ideal candidate is a passionate and dedicated individual who is committed to providing person-centred care in a purpose-built, dementia-friendly environment. You will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary care team to implement individualised care plans that promote residents' independence, wellbeing, and quality of life.
">Responsibilities:
- Providing personal care and daily living assistance to residents
- Administering medication (if selected for the medication endorsed line)
- Supporting residents with personal hygiene, mobility, and social engagement
- Collaborating with the care team to implement individualised care plans
- Maintaining accurate documentation to ensure the highest standards of care
Qualifications:
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent qualification
- Current Medication Endorsement for the medication roster
- Minimum 2 years of experience in providing person-centred care to older adults
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Current right to work in Australia
- Ability to obtain and maintain a clear National Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People Check with NDIS endorsement
