About the role

Care-Force is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team in Hobart. In this rewarding role, you'll provide personalised care and support to individuals living with disabilities, empowering them to maintain their independence and lead fulfilling lives.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and housekeeping.
  • Providing companionship and supporting clients in recreational, social activities and working towards their goals.
  • Advocating for client needs and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
  • Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records.
  • Following all relevant policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to ensure the highest standard of care.

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in disability support or a strong passion for working in the sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients.
  • A compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or an equivalent qualification.
  • Assist Clients with Medication
  • A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to undergo a National Police Check and a Working with Vulnerable People check.
