Home Care Worker Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Care Worker to join our team.

  • This is a rewarding role where you will be making a genuine difference in the lives of others, providing support and care to aged community members living in the Greater Hobart region.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have a Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent) and a current Drivers Licence with a reliable and insured car. They will be responsible for:

  • Caring for and supporting clients in their own homes;
  • Assisting with daily living activities such as personal care and meal preparation;
  • Providing companionship and emotional support to clients;
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or issues to management.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent);
  • A current Drivers Licence with a reliable and insured car;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
