The Parliamentary Security Service is looking for individuals who possess exceptional customer service skills, good judgment, and strong communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to visitors and building occupants
  • Perform front-line and operational security functions, including mobile patrols, screening, and incident response
  • Communicate effectively to de-escalate situations
  • Work closely with other departments within the building, particularly the Australian Federal Police
  • Record and report security incidents

Australian Parliament employees are required to be able and seen to be able to provide professional advice and services to all Senators and Members without favor or prejudice.
