Are you a skilled graphic designer and web publisher looking for a challenging role in the Australian Parliament? We are seeking a dynamic and multi-skilled individual to join our team as a Creative Communications Specialist.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of communications professionals, providing high-quality graphic design services and publishing content to various platforms. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating engaging visual materials, publishing web content, and administering aspects of the publishing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop innovative graphics for social media, marketing emails, brochures, corporate publications, and internal/external digital assets.
  • Publish content to the Parliament House website, adhering to WCAG guidelines and using Sitecore to promote events, activities, and exhibitions.
  • Administer the publishing process for content on the DPS intranet, providing advice to internal teams and delivering ad-hoc publishing training.
  • Create video content for social media platforms.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders across Parliamentary Departments and internally to support outcomes and business requirements.
  • Manage the procurement of print and other services when required.
Requirements
  • Professional experience using Adobe Creative Suite and relevant qualifications or demonstrated practical experience is essential.
  • Experience with Sitecore and SharePoint content management systems or a demonstrated ability to quickly adapt skills to different web content management systems is highly desirable.
  • A portfolio of your work is required if invited to attend an interview.
  • You will need to obtain and maintain a Baseline Vetting (Protected/Restricted) security clearance.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $94,259 - $105,941 per annum.
