Job Description:

The key account manager will lead the development and implementation of the key account strategy in the ruminant sector.

This includes planning, organizing, and leading all business development and sales initiatives, setting annual sales targets for each product and key account, and collaborating with the marketing and technical team to develop suitable product / service strategies.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the ruminant nutritional sectors as well as medicated feed ingredients.

A degree in animal nutrition/animal health/veterinary medicine or other relevant discipline is required. Additionally, a minimum of 5 years of working experience in the ruminant industry in Australia is necessary.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a key account strategy to grow businesses with key accounts in the ruminant sector
  • Plan and organize all business development and sales initiatives, including setting annual sales targets for each product and key account
  • Collaborate with the marketing and technical team to develop suitable product / service strategies and position the company's value proposition aligned with industry trends and customer needs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers in each key account
  • Possess a deep understanding of the ruminant nutritional sectors as well as medicated feed ingredients
  • Hold a degree in animal nutrition/animal health/veterinary medicine or other relevant discipline
  • Have a minimum 5 years of working experience in the ruminant industry in Australia
  • Have held similar or related positions in the past
  • Possess established and demonstrated business relationships with key ruminant accounts in Australia
