We are seeking a highly experienced and exceptionally organized Event Executive to join our team at News Corp Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all event programs excite and engage audiences, while creating memorable experiences that align with our company's strategy.
Key Responsibilities:- Reporting to a Senior Event Manager, support and manage end-to-end event production requirements and the seamless activation of virtual and in-person events.
- Ensure all events are implemented and activated successfully to customer and client expectations, including the seamless integration of sponsor deliverables.
- Work closely with Senior Event Managers and the event marketing team on the development and execution of the experiential growth strategy for key brands.
- Manage budgets as necessary, including supplier invoices.
- Support the Events & Experiences team to deliver the FY25 events roadmap to achieve the intended campaign goals for each project or masthead.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across different divisions to ensure all events are successfully delivered on brand, including C-Suite Executives, Editorial, Sales, Product, and Creative.
- Actively ideate and respond to bespoke client event briefs.
- Assist in all end-to-end customer planning and touchpoints to ensure alignment to event strategies.
- Contribute to the post-campaign analysis and reporting, present, and implement revised operational learnings after each event.
- Seek out examples of 'best practice globally' in sponsorship, event executions, activations, and customer engagement.
- Contribute to a culture that is innovative, customer-focused, and reflects the News Corp and team values.
- 3-5 years of experience as an event coordinator or producer.
- Possess a passion for creating memorable experiences in end-to-end event management.
- Able to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills.
- A confident decision-maker who weighs up alternatives according to their likely impact on the team/function, can work under pressure, and react accordingly in environments that can be sensitive and time-pressured.
- Flexibility to travel for event delivery.
- A proactive attitude who is up for any challenge or task.
- Skilled in GSuite (preferable, not necessary).
