Clearance Broker Role

Collaboration with customers, government agencies, and internal teams is essential to facilitate efficient customs clearance operations and maintain regulatory compliance.

  • Handle end-to-end customs clearance processes for import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations
  • Review customs documentation, classify goods according to customs regulations, and determine duty rates and tax liabilities
  • Resolve customs-related issues and provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and proactively resolving any clearance issues

To excel in this role, strong knowledge of customs regulations, procedures, and trade compliance is required.

In addition, proficiency in customs clearance software and online customs portals is necessary.
