About the Role

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled IT Business Relationship Manager to serve as the main liaison between our Business and IT teams. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless integration and alignment between our business objectives and IT initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business executives, department heads, and end-users.
  • Ensure that IT initiatives and projects are closely aligned with the business's strategic objectives and leverage your knowledge of IT's strategic roadmap to advise and collaborate with business leaders.
  • Prioritize and manage the demand for IT services and solutions within the organization, working with business units to assess their technology needs and provide guidance on potential solutions.
  • Facilitate the decision-making process, evaluating the feasibility and business value of proposed IT projects.
  • Engage in business analysis activities to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and innovation, staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies that could benefit AECOM.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in roles requiring a deep understanding of both business and technology, such as IT project management, product owner, solution architect, business analyst, consulting, or similar positions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across different business lines and locations globally.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and conflict resolution is beneficial.
  • Experience working and leading teams across multiple global locations.
  • 10+ years in IT with a knack for leading transformative projects.
  • 5+ years experience in business change management.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
  • BRMP or CBRM certification.
